Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your Wander account and associated personal data at any time. Follow the steps below.

Option 1: Delete From the App (Recommended)

1. Open the Wander app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile > Settings > Account.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion request.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

1. Send an email to privacy@mywanderapp.com.
2. Use subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
3. Include the email address associated with your Wander account.

What Data Is Deleted

• Account profile information.
• Your wanders, journal entries, and uploaded media linked to your account.
• Saved places and social graph links associated with your account.

What May Be Retained

• Minimal records required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, and security.
• Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you.

Deletion Timeline

We process deletion requests within 30 days. Some backup systems may take additional time to fully cycle out, consistent with our retention and security practices.
